What is a Park Model?
The H.U.D. Park Model (can not exceed 500 square feet) is built to
comply with the H.U.D. Manufactured Home and Safety Standards. This
type of unit is licensed and titled as a recreational vehicle in Florida. HUD
park models must meet all hurricane wind codes for Zones II and III as
dictated by State guidelines. These homes are specifically designed for
RV parks and communities.
The ANSI park Model unit (under 400 square feet) is built to comply with
R.P.T.I.A. ANSI A119.5 standards for recreational park trailers. This type
of unit is licensed and titled as a recreational vehicle.
